Motel Riverbend is located in Tailem Bend on the banks of the mighty River Murray, 99 km from Adelaide. The Dukes, Mallee and Princes Highways meet here. It is a convenient stop over for people wanting to travel to Adelaide, Fleurieu Peninsula, Limestone Coast and the Barossa. The town was proclaimed in 1887 and was originally a sheep run with railway marshalling yards. Today it is a tourist and service centre.
